Share the EFAC Experience with Friends & Family
A popular way to sponsor an EFAC student is to do it with a group! Whether you join with friends, family members or fellow book-club members, group sponsorship allows for several people to share the joy of the EFAC Sponsor Program.
Special aspects to group sponsorship:
We welcome groups ranging from 2-5 people. Cost is $1,000 per year for 4-years, divided by group number (e.g. for a group of 4, it’s $250/year per person).
Group members can write letters to their student either individually or together.
Get creative with fundraising and have a blast while doing it! Think car washes, bake sales, yard sales, etc.
Our most popular group sponsorships:
Middle school/high school students form a group (students who attend the same school, play on a sports team together, etc.).
Family members assemble a group (siblings, parent/child, grandparents/grandchildren).
Two or three families sponsor together.

A group of high school lacrosse players decided to sponsor an EFAC boy named Abdilatif. They exchange letters regularly and learn about each other’s lives. The lacrosse boys have raised sponsorship money by holding a car wash and busking.

Alex and Andy are sisters with seven children between them. They have joined forces to sponsor an EFAC student. Their children are all engaged in this fabulous family affair!
